We've written this policy to be readable, not to bury you in legal text. The short version: we don't store your salary data permanently, we don't sell personal information, and we try to collect only what we genuinely need to keep the platform running well.

PaisaPilotAI (paisapilotai.com) is a salary and tax intelligence platform built for India's salaried professionals. The platform is operated independently and not affiliated with any government body, financial institution, or tax authority. When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," it refers to the PaisaPilotAI platform and its operators.

2. What information we collect
Calculator inputs: When you use our salary or tax calculators, you enter figures like your CTC, city, investment amounts, and regime preference. This data is processed client-side and in-memory to produce your results. We do not permanently store your calculator inputs on our servers. Once your session ends, these values are gone.
Usage data: We collect anonymous, aggregated information about how people use the platform — which pages are visited, which features are used most, and general session duration. This data doesn't identify you personally.
Contact information: If you email us, we retain your email address and the contents of your message so we can respond. We don't add you to marketing lists or share this with third parties.
Cookies: We use cookies to support basic site functionality (like remembering your preferences) and to power our analytics tools. See Section 5 for more detail.
3. How we use your information
The information we collect is used for the following purposes:
- To deliver and improve the salary and tax calculation features
- To understand which tools are most useful so we can prioritize improvements
- To respond to support inquiries and feedback
- To display relevant advertising through Google AdSense
- To maintain the security and reliability of our infrastructure
We do not use your data to build personal profiles, make automated decisions that affect you, or train AI models on identifiable user data.
4. Analytics
We use analytics tools to understand how people interact with PaisaPilotAI. These tools collect anonymized, aggregated behavioral data — think page views and session lengths, not names or salary figures. If you use a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts, it will not affect your ability to use any of our tools. We respect that choice.
5. Cookies
PaisaPilotAI uses the following types of cookies:
- Essential cookies: Required for basic site functionality. These cannot be disabled without breaking the platform.
- Analytics cookies: Help us understand aggregate usage patterns. Set by our analytics provider. Anonymized and not used for targeting.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Blocking advertising cookies will reduce the relevance of ads shown but won't affect your calculator experience.
6. Google AdSense & third-party advertising
PaisaPilotAI displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your prior visits to our site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's ad settings.
We do not have access to or control over the cookies set by third-party advertisers. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
7. Data retention & storage
Calculator inputs are not persisted. We have no database of salary figures entered by individual users. Contact form submissions and support emails are retained for as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward.
Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be traced back to individual users.
8. Data sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting, analytics) under strict data processing terms
- If required by law, court order, or regulatory authority
- In connection with a business transfer or acquisition, with prior notice to users
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Since we store very little personal information to begin with, most requests will be simple. 10. Children's privacy
PaisaPilotAI is intended for adults who are part of or entering India's salaried workforce. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we'll delete it promptly.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time as the platform evolves or regulations change. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on the homepage. Continuing to use PaisaPilotAI after a policy update means you accept the revised terms.
